This Haida canoe is a seagoing vessel carved out of cedar. The Haida people are well known for their craftsmanship of carving seagoing canoes. The crest on the bow is an Eagle, the crest on the stern is a Brown Bear. These represent which clan the owner belongs to. This canoe was designed and carved by Glenn Cook.
