Blackfoot Warrior Woman”
It was part of the warrior woman series honoring all the warrior women in every generation. Blackfoot people have a history of warrior women like Running eagle of the past or Eloise Cobell of the present times. Women charging forward facing the adversity head on, a scarf representing the people and the gun representing a protector or fighter. She’s painted like a brave dog a young warrior society.
As indigenous people and especially as Blackfoot people hold a deep respect toward the strength and resilience shown from our women. They have time and time again proved their strength and without them my people would not remain. They are quick to adapt to any changes but always keep the spirit of our ancestors alive in their love and compassion.
